Tom gained an MPhys in Physics from the University of Oxford, followed by
a PhD in Atomic and Laser Physics. He began his career at a major global
IT consultancy, before moving into finance and the commercialisation of
new technologies emerging from universities and co-founding of a
nanotechnology start-up. Tom leads BitPrice’s business
development, regulatory compliance, and marketing activities.
James gained an MA and an MPhil in Computer Science from the University
of Cambridge, followed by a PhD in Computer Science (Machine Translation)
from the University of Oxford. He then moved into derivatives trading,
joining a leading options market making firm on the fixed income desk. He
subsequently traded on a volatility arbitrage desk, focusing on global
equity indices. James is drawing on his technical and trading experience to
build and maintain a secure and stable exchange.
Adam has a PhD in Mathematics (Elliptic Curves and Modular Forms) from
Imperial College London. After a brief stint as an academic researcher, he
joined an options market-making firm as a quantitative analyst. He worked on
their price and volatility modelling, realtime risk-analytics, and automated
market-making software. Adam brings mathematical, cryptographic and programming
skills to BitPrice's technical team.
